This may seem like a cop-out, but…supervision to the rescue!!
- Critiquing and interpreting requires that you practice applying the content in section D, within the context of all the other information you need to know about ABA. That’s a lot! We can’t possibly tell you how to do that on a webpage. The whole point is that you’re actively doing it with someone who can guide you through the subtleties of each case, so you can keep improving.
- Your supervisor is an invaluable resource for guidance and feedback.
- Reading single-case design studies and carefully considering the authors’ discussion can be very helpful.
Why this matters: There’s really no point to using single case designs if we cannot extract meaningful and actionable information from them, right? That’s what we owe our clients.
